Terms of Service

Introduction

Before using the services, please read these terms of service carefully. These terms govern your use of Luvvoice services provided by Soundsynth Tech LLC. Your access to and use of the services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the services.

By accessing or using the services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not be able to access the services.

Our Services

Luvvoice® offers a state-of-the-art AI voice creation technology and online platform. You simply type or paste in the text you want to convert to speech, and Luvvoice will produce an audio file with a lifelike voice that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as videos, podcasts, and presentations.

We offer a range of voices and languages for you to choose from, as well as the ability to adjust the speed, pitch, and volume of the voiceover. Subject to these terms, applicable law, and any third-party rights in the materials you provide, you own the text and audio content that you create through the services.

Luvvoice currently provides speech generation through Microsoft Azure AI Speech, including Azure neural text-to-speech technology, Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, and proprietary Luvvoice speech models. The model or provider used may vary by selected voice, language, feature, availability, and service configuration. Microsoft and Google are independent service providers and do not sponsor or endorse Luvvoice.

Because some features depend on third-party model providers, their availability, processing time, supported languages, voices, and output characteristics may change or be interrupted outside our control.

Obligations

By using the services, you confirm that you meet the following conditions:

• You are at least the defined minimum age;
• You only have one Luvvoice account that uses your real name;
• You have not been previously restricted from using the services by Luvvoice.

"Minimum Age" means 16 years old. However, if the law requires that you must be older for Luvvoice to lawfully provide the services to you without parental consent (including using your personal data), then the minimum age is such older age.

You agree to: (a) use a strong password and keep it confidential; and (b) not transfer any part of your account. You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or immediately report misuse.

Rights and Limits

Between you and Luvvoice, the content and information that you submit to the services belong to you. However, you grant Luvvoice a transferable license to use, copy, modify the following account details such as full name, email, and billing details, without any further consent, notice, or compensation.

You also grant Luvvoice a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, process, reproduce, analyze, and create technical derivatives of the text, audio, voice samples, cloned voice models, generated audio, prompts, metadata, and other materials you submit or create through the services, solely as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, improve, bill for, and enforce the services.

The rest of your data is stored in encrypted format, with end-to-end access only belonging to you. Because you own your content and information, and we only have non-exclusive rights, you can choose to make it available to others, including under the terms of a Creative Commons license.

Voice Cloning and Synthetic Voice Use

Some Luvvoice features may allow you to upload or record voice samples, create a cloned or synthetic voice, and generate speech using that voice. You may use these features only with voices, recordings, names, likenesses, scripts, and other materials that you own or have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents necessary to use.

If you upload, clone, or generate a voice that is not your own, you represent and warrant that you have obtained clear and valid authorization from the person whose voice is used, and that your use complies with all applicable laws, platform rules, publicity rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, employment obligations, union or guild rules, and contractual restrictions. For minors, you must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian and may use the voice only in a lawful, non-exploitative manner.

You are solely responsible for all voice samples, text, prompts, generated audio, cloned voice models, and downstream uses or distributions of synthetic audio created through your account. You must not represent synthetic audio as an authentic recording of a real person unless you have the legal right to do so and the context is not misleading. Where law, platform policy, or reasonable audience expectations require disclosure, you must clearly disclose that the audio is AI-generated or synthetic.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Luvvoice, including any voice cloning or synthetic voice feature, for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or other NSFW content: generating or distributing pornography, sexual services content, non-consensual intimate content, or sexually exploitative material;
• Violence or graphic gore: generating content that depicts, glorifies, threatens, or encourages severe physical harm, torture, graphic injury, or cruelty;
• Hate speech: generating content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics;
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other child-unsafe content: generating, requesting, possessing, or distributing any sexual, exploitative, grooming, trafficking, or otherwise harmful content involving a minor or a person presented as a minor. We apply zero tolerance to this category;
• Deepfakes or impersonation: cloning, simulating, or presenting the voice or identity of a real person or organization without authorization, or using synthetic audio to deceive others about its origin, speaker, authenticity, or endorsement;
• Copyright or trademark infringement: copying, cloning, generating, or distributing voices, recordings, scripts, brands, or other materials in a way that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other third-party rights;
• fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, account takeover, social engineering, false endorsements, deceptive advertising, or misleading commercial, financial, medical, legal, or employment communications;
• harassment, threats, extortion, bullying, defamation, terrorism, violent extremism, or content intended to intimidate, shame, exploit, or harm another person;
• political manipulation, voter suppression, deceptive robocalls, spam, emergency-service interference, public-safety deception, or any use that violates telecommunications, consumer protection, election, or advertising laws;
• attempting to bypass security, safety filters, rate limits, identity checks, watermarking, abuse monitoring, payment controls, or other protective measures of the services.

Content Moderation and Safety Review

We use a risk-based combination of automated safety checks, abuse and usage-pattern signals, user reports, and human review to identify possible violations. Depending on the feature and risk, checks may be applied to submitted text, voice samples, generated audio, account activity, or related metadata. Automated systems are not perfect, and content that is not automatically blocked remains subject to later review and enforcement.

We may review, monitor, moderate, block, remove or disable content, pause generation, restrict access to voice models or features, preserve relevant records, or request additional information when content or activity is flagged by our systems, reported by a user or rights holder, or otherwise reasonably suspected of violating these terms or applicable law.

Reporting Violations

You may report prohibited content, unauthorized voice use or impersonation, child-safety concerns, intellectual-property infringement, or other suspected violations by emailing [email protected]. Please include the relevant account or content identifier, URL if available, a description of the concern, and supporting evidence. Do not email or attach CSAM; instead, provide only the information needed to identify and investigate the material.

We assess reports in light of their severity, available evidence, applicable law, and the safety of users and third parties. We may contact the reporter or affected user for additional information. Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports may itself result in enforcement.

Enforcement Actions and Cooperation

Depending on severity, recurrence, intent, and legal requirements, we may remove or disable content; warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account; revoke access to cloned voices or generated audio; refuse or cancel service; withhold or reverse credits where permitted by law; and prevent repeat registrations. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning.

We may preserve relevant records, report suspected criminal conduct or child-safety threats to appropriate authorities or reporting bodies, and cooperate with rights holders, platforms, payment processors, law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these terms.

If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may request a review at [email protected]. A review request does not suspend an enforcement action while safety or legal risks remain under assessment.

User Responsibility and Indemnification

You are solely responsible for your use of the services, the materials you submit, the synthetic audio you create, and any publication, distribution, commercialization, or other use of that output. Luvvoice does not verify that you have obtained the necessary rights or consents for voice cloning unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luvvoice, Soundsynth Tech LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your content, your cloned or synthetic voice use, your breach of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement or alleged infringement of any third-party rights.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services, models, voices, generated audio, software, and all related materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Luvvoice and Soundsynth Tech LLC make no warranties of any kind, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, or that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

AI-generated and synthetic audio may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, offensive, unavailable, or unsuitable for your intended use. Outputs may vary between requests or change when an underlying model or provider changes. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and confirming that you have the rights and permissions required before relying on, publishing, or distributing them. We do not warrant that any output will be unique or that similar output will not be generated for another user.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luvvoice, Soundsynth Tech LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, content, or use, arising out of or relating to the services, even if advised that such damages are possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Luvvoice and Soundsynth Tech LLC for all claims arising out of or relating to the services or these terms will not exceed the total amount you actually paid to Luvvoice for the services during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits such a limitation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

Both you and Luvvoice can terminate this user agreement at any time with notice to the other. Upon termination, you lose the right to access or use the services.

The following remain effective after termination: our rights to use and disclose your feedback; disclaimers and limitations of liability, arbitration, class-action waiver, and jury waiver, applicable law and dispute resolution, and parts of the user agreement; and any amounts owed by either party prior to termination remain owed after termination.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our services.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the services and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our services or a third-party service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Purchases

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, but not limited to, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment methods(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct, and complete. By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.

iOS App, Apple In-App Purchases, and Subscriptions

If you use the LuvVoice iOS app, some paid features may be offered through Apple In-App Purchase as auto-renewable subscriptions. Subscription names, prices, billing periods, trial availability, renewal terms, and included usage allowances are shown in the app and in the App Store before purchase.

When you confirm an iOS purchase, payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel iOS subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. LuvVoice cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf.

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's refund process. LuvVoice may use Apple transaction records, product IDs, subscription status, renewal status, refund status, and expiration dates to provide access to paid features, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.

If the iOS app includes a Restore Purchases option, it is intended to reconnect your App Store subscription entitlements to your LuvVoice account. Restoring a purchase does not create a new subscription or change your billing cycle.

To the extent the LuvVoice iOS app is distributed through Apple's App Store and no separate end user license agreement is provided, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies in addition to these terms.

Account Deletion

If you create an account, you may request account deletion through supported account settings, including the account deletion flow in the iOS app where available. Account deletion may remove or anonymize your profile, authentication records, generated content, saved audio, quota records, and related service metadata, subject to legally permitted retention for fraud prevention, billing, tax, security, dispute resolution, backups, and compliance.

Deleting your LuvVoice account does not automatically cancel active paid subscriptions purchased through Apple. You must separately cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings to stop future billing.

Changes to Price and Subscription Plans

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our discretion.

By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the services.
